Why Samsung needs an extra step
Samsung has its own layer of battery optimisation on top of Android's. Even with the standard battery exemption granted, Samsung can still throttle Kidlyoo's services. Adding Kidlyoo to "Never sleeping apps" lifts that throttle.
The path
- Open Settings.
- Tap Apps.
- Tap Battery (you may need to scroll, or open More battery settings).
- Tap Background usage limits.
- Tap Never sleeping apps.
- Tap Add, find Kidlyoo, and select it.

Battery cost
Roughly the same battery as the standard exemption. Samsung doesn't double-bill; "Never sleeping" just lifts the extra throttling.
On older One UI versions (One UI 2 or earlier) the path is similar but may live under Device care - Battery. If you can't find it, email us with your One UI version.
