The spirit
Kidlyoo is built to help parents manage their kids' screen time. These rules exist to keep the product working for everyone.
Don'ts
Account abuse
- Don't share your account credentials with people outside your household. Use family sharing when it launches.
- Don't create accounts on behalf of children without parental authority.
- Don't use Kidlyoo to surveil any person who isn't a child in your legal care.
Service abuse
- Don't try to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract our code.
- Don't probe for security vulnerabilities except via responsible disclosure to support@kidlyoo.com.
- Don't try to bypass our rate limits or scrape data.
- Don't run Kidlyoo on rooted or jailbroken devices in ways that compromise the integrity of the kiosk and then complain when escapes happen.
Content abuse
- Don't approve videos that are illegal in your jurisdiction.
- Don't add videos that violate YouTube's own terms.
- Don't use Kidlyoo to expose children to age-inappropriate content. We expect parental judgment.
Commercial abuse
- Don't use Kidlyoo as part of a paid commercial service without our written permission.
- Don't redistribute Kidlyoo or modified versions.
Consequences
If we find a violation, we may:
- Reach out and ask you to stop.
- Suspend your account.
- Terminate your account in serious or repeated cases.
We will act in good faith and give notice when feasible.
