Why Huawei needs extra steps
Huawei's EMUI defaults are very restrictive on background services. Without these settings, Kidlyoo's Watchdog will be terminated and the lockdown becomes unreliable.
The path
- Open Settings.
- Tap Apps, then Apps again.
- Find and tap Kidlyoo.
- Tap Battery.
- Tap App launch.
- Switch to Manage manually.
- Enable all three:
- Auto-launch
- Secondary launch
- Run in background
On older EMUI versions the labels may differ slightly. Search Settings for "app launch" or "protected apps" if the path above doesn't match.
